Cmdr. James Kraska, International Law Department, served as Associate Editor of a new volume commentary entitled “United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982, Volume VII,” under Myron H. Nordquist and Satya Nandan, who were the lead editors. The complete seven-volume series is the most complete and authoritative reference of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, which governs human activity on, above and under the oceans.
Associate Provost Bill Spain and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs Tim Jackson participated in a moderated panel entitled “Pearl Harbor’s Enduring Legacy” for the 70th Anniversary of the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Dec. 5.
