Professor Tom Nichols, National Security Affairs Department, was part of a panel at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. on Non-Strategic Nuclear Weapons and NATO. The panel included Nichols, Ambassador Steve Pifer, Jeff Mccausland, Leo Michel, and Malcolm Chalmers. The podcast is available online here.

Professor Mack Owens, National Security Affairs (NSA) Department, moderated a panel on Professional Military Education (PME) at the National War College Wednesday in Washington D.C. The panel was sponsored by the Reserve Officer Association (ROA) and the Foreign Policy Research Institute. Panel members NSA professor Joan Johnson-Freese, Tom Ricks, retired Maj. Gen. Robert Scales and ROA member Robert Fielder discussed Johnson-Freese's article on PME from the Winter issue of Orbis.
