Strategy and War (S&W), Theater Security Decision Making (TSDM), and Joint Maritime Operations (JMO) are offered at multiple locations in keeping with efforts of the Chief of Naval Personnel to foster a deliberate and flexible learning environment.

The graduating class of 2017 included 423 resident students of the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, federal civilian employees and 105 international students. Fleet Seminar Program Application

The Fleet Seminar Program is offered on an academic year basis, commencing in early September and ending in mid-May. The three core courses are offered each year although not all courses are offered at all locations each year. Seminars and locations for each academic year are announced by an annual NAVADMIN.

Applicants are enrolled in seminars consisting of no more than 18 students. Each academic year is a separate enrollment event; continuing students must apply for enrollment in subsequent courses.
