Thanks to Navy leadership’s commitment to senior enlisted professional development, we can fund an additional 20 Senior Chief Petty Officers per class in FY 14.  This is reserved for Senior Chiefs only so that we are able to increase their opportunities to take advantage of the SEA educational experience.  The classes available are:
177 convening Nov 4th and ending Dec 13th
178 convening Jan 6th and ending Feb 14th
179 convening Feb 24th and ending Apr 4th
180 convening Apr 14th and ending May 23rd
181 convening Jun 2nd and ending Jul 11th
182 convening Jul 28th and ending Sep 5th
Please forward your 1306/92  to YNC Ben Campbell at This is a first-come-first-served process; your packages need to be to Paula 30 days prior to the class you are requesting. If a package is received after the 30 day mark or the class is already full, it will be returned with a statement that the class is either full or the package was received late. We will place priority on sea duty billets.
For those requesting to attend from OCONUS, I ask that your command possibly pay air fare in order to afford everyone the opportunity to take advantage of this program. We cannot fund a rental car, so if you want your Sailor to have one, the command will have to pick up the tab.
We can cover the rest of the associated costs (transportation, lodging, per diem, etc.).  Also, please note the candidates MUST complete their PPME on NKO prior to arrival and be within BCA standards as they will be sent home if not within standards.
It’s important to note this plus-up is in addition to students who can attend via traditional funding (i.e. TDI en route to new duty station and TAD from parent command using existing budget).
Thank you for your continued support.
