Julia A. Gage, JD
Graduate Network for Lifelong Learning
Julia Gage is the founding Director of the Naval War College Alumni Education Program, established July 2010. Serving as a member of the faculty, Professor Gage develops and facilitates a lifelong learning continuum for graduates of all the College’s degree and certificate programs. Her primary focus is the professional development of mid to senior level leaders.
Additionally, Professor Gage teaches leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution at the Naval War
College. Current course offerings include: Leading Through Everday Conflict, Understanding Conflict, and The Heart of Leadership. She is a founding member of the Roger Williams Community Mediation Clinic and a Rhode Island Certified Mediator. An experienced practitioner of individual leadership assessment instruments, she is qualified to administer the MBTI, FIRO-B, LETT and HOGAN programs.
Professor Gage earned a BA in History from Buffalo State College and a JD from the Roger Williams
University School of Law, where she was named Clinical Legal Educators Student of the Year.
