The Naval War College Catalog is an online guide to course descriptions, academic programs, and administrative information and sets forth the obligations and responsibilities of both students and the institution.

The Naval War College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. Inquiries regarding the accreditation status by the New England Association should be directed to the Office of the President of the Naval War College.

The Naval War College is also accredited to deliver Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) through the Process for Accreditation of Joint Education (PAJE). This is a CJCS approved process for the oversight, assessment, and improvement of the JPME programs at intermediate and senior colleges.
