Professor Andrew Erickson, China Maritime Studies Institute, was featured on, speaking with Robert Farley on “Foreign Entanglements.” They discussed the long road to development of China's new aircraft carrier, including the choices that the carrier represents and what it might portend for China's military future. They then worked through the implications of China's development of anti-ship ballistic missiles and what it tells us about China's military bureaucracy. The video is available.

Professor Hayat Alvi, National Security Affairs Department, was the guest speaker for the U.S. Army Reserve 302D Maneuver Enhancement Brigade Ball and honored guest of the commander of the 302D, Brig. Gen. David Puster, in Southbridge, Mass., on March 17.
