French tall ship arrives in Newport to welcoming crowd

NWC culinary specialists earn silver medals at conference
Four U.S. Naval War College (NWC) culinary specialists sharpened their skills at a conference at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where they attended four days of cooking seminars from top chefs and then took part in a competition with other attendees over the concepts and techniques they learned.

Navy Band Northeast Tours Vermont
Part of Navy Band Northeast’s (NBNE) mission is to enhance public awareness of the Navy, educate Americans on the importance of Naval service, and inspire patriotism. During its April 18-20, 2015, Pops Ensemble tour in Vermont, NBNE stayed in tune with this goal, performing three concerts in Stowe, Rutland and Randolph for a combined audience of over 900 people.
