Nimitz Diary Unveils Naval War College Legacy of Learning
The U.S. Naval War College unveiled the public online digitization project of Fleet Adm. Chester Nimitz’s 4,000 page operational diary, known as The Nimitz Graybook, during an evening lecture, Feb. 24 at NWC in Newport, R.I.

The Naval War College Library in Newport, R.I. will publicly unveil online the 4,000-page "Graybook" collection of Fleet Adm. Chester Nimitz communications that started in the wake of the Pearl Harbor attack and ran right up until the closing days of the war.

Senior Enlisted Leaders Graduate from SEA
The U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (SEA) Resident Class 178 graduated 95 students on Feb. 14, 2014. The graduation ceremony took place at the Naval Station Newport Officer’s Club. U.S. Naval War College president Rear Adm. Walter E. "Ted" Carter, Jr, served as the guest speaker for the ceremony. read more

Navy beat Army in the U.S. Naval War College’s (NWC) twelfth annual Army-Navy flag football game on Friday, Dec. 6.  Held at Nimitz Field in the rainy afternoon weather, the game ended with Navy scoring 24 points and Army zero. read more
