Profile

Commander Nick Cromwell, U.S. Navy, is an Information Warfare Officer in the Navy Reserve. He is on active duty for special kork as a Game Director in the War Gaming Department, Center for Naval Warfare Studies, at the Naval War College.

He graduated from the Naval Academy in 1996 and was designated as a Cryptologist. Following training in Pensacola, he was stationed in Naval Security Group Hawaii where he was deployed as a Direct Support Officer aboard USS Russell (DDG-59) and was a division officer.  CDR Cromwell served as the Operations Officer for a National Intelligence Collection Program and as a liaison to the US Coast Guard Intelligence Program.

Since transitioning to the Navy Reserve, CDR Cromwell has worked as a Government Civilian at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport in the Electronic Warfare Department and the Strategic Planning Office.

CDR Cromwell completed an Individual Augmentation deployment to Afghanistan as an Information Operations Planner where he supported NATO and US Army staffs in the planning and execution of Information activities.
