Naval Warfare Research Group
Picture3.jpg
The VADM Samuel L. Gravely, Jr. Naval Warfare Research Group grew out of Halsey Charlie Research Group success.  Halsey Charlie research supported development of Integrated Air & Missile Defense and Undersea Warfare.  Halsey Charlie graduates formed the initial cadre and global network of Navy missile defense officers and a growing cadre of USW officers.

Gravely Research projects are conducted as Advanced Research Projects by Naval War College graduate students under the mentorship of Prof. Will Bundy, PhD and other NWC faculty.

Gravely Research for the 2013-2014 Academic Year:

Undersea Domain Operating Concept (UDOC) – An Undersea Warfare operational level of warfare assessment and collaborative concept development project.

Project Looking Glass – A collaborative project focused on evolving ISR-T and Precision Strike Capabilities that form the core of the evolving warfare environment.

Integrated Air and Missile Defense C2 – Continuation of the BMD-IAMD focus for the Gravely Group that supports the Navy BMD Enterprise and the Navy Air and Missile Defense Command.
