Rear Adm. (lower half) Douglas J. Venlet (CNCS 1996) who has been selected for the rank of rear admiral, will be assigned as director for international engagement, N52, OPNAV, Washington, D.C. Venlet is currently serving as defense attache Russia, Defense Intelligence Agency, Moscow.
