Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert D. McMurry Jr. (CNCS 1998), has been nominated for appointment to the rank of Major General. McMurry is currently serving as the Director, Space Programs, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Acquisition, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
