Army Col. John L. Poppe (CNW 2004) for appointment to the rank of Brigadier General and for assignment as Chief of the Veterinary Corps of the Army. Poppe is currently serving as Chief, Department of Veterinary Science, Academy of Health Sciences, Army Medical Department Center and School, San Antonio, Texas.
