Vice Admiral Robin Dhowan (NCC 1997) is New Navy Vice Chief
Vice Admiral Robin Dhowan will tomorrow take over as the Vice Chief of Navy succeeding Vice Admiral D K Deewan who will proceed on superannuation. Dhowan, who is currently the Deputy Chief of the Navy, will be replaced by Vice Admiral Satish Soni after he assumes office.

Indian Navy chief Admiral Nirmal Verma took over as the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC) from outgoing Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal P.V. Naik. The committee comprises of the Chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force.

RADM Wendi B. Carpenter (CDE 2006) Serves as First Female SUNY Maritime College President
Navy Rear Adm. Wendi B. Carpenter was unanimously appointed Rear Adm., President of SUNY Maritime College by the State University of New York Board of Trustees on July 6th, 2011. Admiral Carpenter has been serving as the Commander of the Navy’s Warfare Development Command.
