     Colonel Timothy “Tim” White is a Professor at the Naval War College, Newport, RI where he educates field grade officers from Joint and Allied forces in Joint Military and Maritime Operations. 
 
     Prior to serving as a Professor, Colonel White was a student at the Naval War College after his tour as the Commander, Air Mobility Command Test and Evaluation Squadron, McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey as AMC’s sole operational test force, testing new and modified aircraft, support equipment, procedures and subsystems.
 
     Colonel White deployed as a commander of a KC-135 Air Refueling Squadron (flying special operations combat missions), a combined KC-135 & KC-10 Air Refueling Squadron (flying special operations combat missions), and a KC-10 Air Refueling Squadron and has deployed numerous times in support of operations NORTHERN WATCH, SOUTHERN WATCH, JOINT ENDEAVOR, DENY FLIGHT, VIGILANT WARRIOR, ENDURING FREEDOME and IRAQI FREEDOME.

    Colonel White was commissioned in 1988 through the ROTC program after graduating from the University of South Florida and earned his pilot wings through undergraduate pilot training at Vance Air Force Base, OK. He is a command pilot with over 3,000 flying hours and 200 combat hours.
