Currently Naval War College Liaison to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV). Professor, Naval War College, Department of Joint Military Operations (2006-2009). Assistant Director for Risk Management, Office of Force Transformation, Office of the Secretary of Defense (2003-2006). Principal Deputy Director, Program Analysis & Evaluation, Office of the Secretary of Defense (2001-2002). Special Assistant to the Commander, Naval Air Systems Command (1992-1994). Positions in the Partnership for Peace Program in Europe, the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and the Defense Acquisition University.

Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Medal, USAF Exceptional Civilian Service Award, and Exceptional Civilian Service Award.
