Lieutenant Colonel Sean N. Fisher, USA, joined the Naval War College faculty in June 2010 after completing a tour with the
Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany as a Deputy Senior Task Force Observer/Controller-Trainer. Prior to that he served as the Operations Officer and later, Executive Officer for the
1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment where he deployed in support of ISAF and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM as the Deputy Commander, Task Force Zabul, a Romanian-led Joint, Interagency and Multinational effort. LTC Fisher has previously served with the 24th and 3rd Infantry Divisions (Mechanized) (OPERATIONs INTRINSIC ACTION and VIGILANT WARRIOR), the 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized), the
16th Cavalry Regiment (OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM (CJTF Phoenix)), and
V Corps (OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM (MNC-I)). Additionally, LTC Fisher served with the 214th Military Police Company and the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment during OPERATIONs DESERT SHIELD/STORM during his enlisted service in the Alabama National Guard. He is a graduate of the Armor Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School and the
US Army Command and General Staff College. LTC Fisher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from
Auburn University in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree in Political Science (National Security Studies) from
American Military University.
