Profile
CAPT McKeon is the director of the Assist and Assess Team (AAT) within the College of Operational and Strategic Leadership. His responsibilities include the daily guidance and direction of the 25 personnel assigned to AAT and the coordination of training and education for all eight Navy Maritime Operations Centers (MOCs), with an emphasis on the operational level of war.
CAPT McKeon is an EA-6B Prowler Naval Flight Officer with multiple squadron assignments and deployments on both the East and West coasts. He has had a variety of staff assignments during his career, including tours at the Naval Strike Warfare Center, Navy Personnel Command, United States Central Command and U.S. Third Fleet. He has been assigned to the Naval War College since September, 2010.
CAPT McKeon holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MBA from University of Maryland. He is a graduate of the National War College in Washington, DC, where he completed Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phases I and II and was awarded a masters degree in National Security Strategy.
