Profile

CAPT Haumer teaches the Leadership Concepts Intermediate and Senior courses. He has been a member of the National Security Affairs faculty since May 2009.

He earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 1985 and an M.S. in Management Science from the Naval Postgraduate School in 1991.

His sea service includes one SSBN tour in the Pacific, three SSN tours in the Atlantic and one Submarine Tender tour. His 38 month command tour on USS AUGUSTA (SSN 710) included two six month deployments in the 6^th and 5^th Fleet AORs.
His shore assignments were on the staff of the Commander, U.S. Submarine Forces and as an instructor at the Navy’s Command Leadership School.
