Profile

CDR Matt Graham is a member of the Assist and Assess Team (AAT) at the Naval War College in Newport, RI. He graduated and received his commission from Villanova University in 1993. Following commissioning he served on USS MOUNT VERNON (LSD 39) and conducted a Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf deployment. In 1997, CDR Graham was assigned as the Navigator on USS ANTIETAM (CG 54) and deployed to the Arabian Gulf.  

His department head tours were on USS STETHEM (DDG 63) and USS SAN JACINTO (CG 56) as Operations Officer. While on STETHEM, he conducted the operational evaluation and testing of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons System. CDR Graham also served as the Executive Officer on USS ELROD (FFG 55).   Ashore, CDR Graham served as the Executive Director and an instructor at Surface Warfare Officer School’s Department Head Training and on the staff of US Second Fleet as the Tomahawk Officer for Tactics and Experimentation.

Most recently, CDR Graham served on the staff of COMUSNAVCENT/C5F as the Joint Fires Director responsible for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense and Tomahawk Strike Cells. CDR Graham is a distinguished graduate from the U.S. Naval War College.
