Ed Suraci is a Military Professor and Commander USN in the War Gaming Department, Center for Naval Warfare Studies. Commander Suraci has served 26 years in the Navy in the Merchant Marine Program, and served in a number of support functions at the Naval War College over the past 5 years.
Commander Suraci received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University, and a B.S. in Marine Transportation from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
For over 10 years, Commander Suraci was invited to the United States Naval Academy, to work with the faculty as an instructor and leader of the hands-on midshipmen training, including OIC and AOTC of the 3-6 week underway training. Commander Suraci also served in several operations providing logistical support to Haiti and Iraq.
In his civilian career, Commander Suraci has over 20 years of international corporate experience with Fortune 100 companies. He has run manufacturing, business operations, leadership and executive development, talent management, organizational development, recruiting, and human resources operations. He volunteers his time as a Naval Academy Blue & Gold Officer working with inner-city high school students with aspirations of a career in the Navy.
