Sergeant Major Doug Pallister
 
 
Sergeant Major Pallister enlisted in the Army in September 1983 and attended Basic, Advanced Infantry Training, and Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA.
 
He served as an Ammo Bearer, Machine Gunner, M203 Gunner, Team Leader and Squad Leader in 3rd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC, Squad Leader, 3rd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, Vicenza, Italy, Squad Leader and Platoon Sergeant, Company B, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Lewis, WA, 75th Ranger Regimental Liaison to the Department of the Army, Washington, DC, First Sergeant, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Lewis, WA, Operations Sergeant Major, 1st Battalion,    24th Infantry, Fort Lewis, WA, Command Sergeant Major, 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment,   1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany, Command Sergeant Major, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Lewis, WA, Regimental Command Sergeant Major, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, GA, and from April 2009 to the present, he is serving as a Faculty Advisor at the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Newport, Rhode Island.
 
His schools include Ranger School, Airborne School, Sergeants Major Academy (Class 52), First Sergeant Course, and Jumpmaster School. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Excelsior University. 
 
His awards include the Legion of Merit(1 OLC), Bronze Star Medal(1 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal(5 OLC), Army Commendation Medal(4 OLC), Army Achievement Medal(5 OLC), Humanitarian Service Medal with Service Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Multinational Force and Observers Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, and NCO Professional Service Ribbon with Numeral 4. He has earned the Ranger Tab, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, and Belgian, French and Honduran Parachute Wings. He is a recipient of the Infantry Order of Saint Maurice Medallion, Centurion Level.
 
He participated in Operations DESERT STORM, Kuwait, Operation RESTORE DEMOCRACY, Haiti, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Iraq, Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Afghanistan.
