Profile

Commander Bryan Williams is a Military Professor of Strategy and Policy, in the Strategy and Policy Department of the United States Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island. 


He is a 1992 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and holds a B.S in Ocean Engineering and a M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.  Designated a Naval Aviator in 1995, his operational experience includes flying the FA-18 with VFA-82, VFA-131, and VFA-27.  He has participated in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan has been stationed with the Forward Deployed Naval Forces based in Japan.  His shore assignments include instructing at the Strike Fighter Weapons School Atlantic and serving as a liaison officer at the Joint Warfare Analysis Center in Dahlgren, Virginia.  He most recently served as the Operations Officer of Carrier Air Wing SEVEN (CVW-7) and completed two deployments aboard the USS EISENHOWER (CVN-69) in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.
