Stanford Law School has invited Cdr. James Kraska, NWC International Law Department, to deliver a presentation on March 11 titled, "Countering Piracy in the Gulf of Aden." The discussion will focus on the international law and policy frameworks that are being developed and implemented to counter piracy in the Horn of Africa. The Stanford Journal of International Law is publishing his forthcoming study on international law and piracy, titled, "Fighting Piracy: The Coalition is the Strategy." Kraska has extensive experience with maritime security issues, international maritime conventions, and the law of the sea.
